Never give up…..

At 211 degrees, water is hot….At 212 degrees, it boils.
And with boiling water comes steam….And steam can power a locomotive.

The one extra degree makes all the difference.

And so many times in life, it’s that one extra degree of effort that separates the good from the great.

Whatever it is in life that you are striving for–Don’t give up. That one extra degree may be all you need to  “power your locomotive”.   -unknown

Nothing in  this world can take the place of persistence.   Not talent…nor genius…nor education…The world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination along have unlimited power! -unknown

  • Reach for the stars.  Don’t let limitations define your goals.  Don’t let roadblocks stop you.  Find a way to go around them to continue your journey.
  • Embrace your mistakes you might make along the way. Sometimes you have to break the cake to eat it.
  • Never give up your passion.  You are always a winner if you made the effort. Life is what you make it.

  1. Justin says:

Prayer is not your last resort, but our first resource.

The Title to your healing is your Faith that Christ can do it!!

-Pray without ceasing Romans 12:12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer…Prayer breaks up the strategies of hell. Prayer is the medium of miracles….unknown…..Be specific in prayer.
-Let the weak say I am strong, Let the poor say I am rich. Give thanks. Give thanks with a grateful heart, For what the Lord has done for us.
Two persons, equally intelligent and equally cared for, find themselves at the close of day. One frets that the day has been a total loss. Nothing about it makes her happy. She not only sees it as unfulfilling but she says what she feels over and over. The other says nothing, but the expression of gratitude for the hours past rests comfortably on her face. Her day has been no less chaotic but she refuses to add to the burden by talking about it negatively. To whom does life turn with blessings- the one that complains continually or the one that sees every sunrise as another chance to create an atmosphere of peace and a place that others want to come home to again and again? Who are we? What is our focus? Joyce Hifler
-Jesus said the woman with the issue of blood received healing because of her faith. Thy faith has made thee whole. Luke 8:43–48 Mark 5:25–34, Matthew 9:20–22 (Remember that she went to many physicians to no avail yet because her faith was so strong that just touching the hem of His garment that Jesus could heal her, she was healed.)
-Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour. Matthew 8: 13
-A Boy Is Healed. A boy with a mute spirit since childhood that seized him, threw him down; he foamed at the mouth, gnashed his teeth, and became rigid. The disciples, could not cast it out. Jesus said, “O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to Me.” When the spirit saw Him, immediately the spirit convulsed the boy, and the boy fell on the ground and wallowed, foaming at the mouth. The boy’s father said that often the spirit has thrown the boy both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. The father said to Jesus if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us,”to which Jesus replied, “If you can believe,[a] all things are possible to him who believes.” Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it: “Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!” Then the spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he became as one dead, so that many said, “He is dead.” But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose. His disciples asked Jesus privately, “Why could we not cast it out?” Jesus explained, “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.” Mark 9- 14:29
-A man full of leprosy had enough faith that when he saw Jesus he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Mark 1:40-45 and Luke 5:12-16
-A blind beggar by the name of Bartimaeus son of Timaeus told Jesus “Master,[b] I want to see!” Jesus told him, “You may go. Your eyes are healed because of your faith.” Right away the man could see, and he went down the road with Jesus. Mark 10:-52
-Paralyzed man Bible was lowered from the roof to Jesus who said “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this! -Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. 1 John 3:21-22
-You have not because you ask not….Ask it in the name of Jesus…Don’t claim it.
-Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23
    – Ask, believe, receive
-Confidence and Compassion in Prayer Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. 1 John 5:14-15
-Faith is the substance of things hoped for and things we cannot see. Hebrews 11
-Our faith is what connects our weaknesses to God’s power.
-Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1
-Jesus tells us to not be afraid, just believe Mark 5:36
-Have faith that once we ask it will be done. We may not see immed manifestation. God sets things in motion, when we ask if it is according to His will. After that just say prayers of thanksgiving.
    – Without faith it is impossible to please God. Hebrews 11:6
    – Don’t be double minded. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. James 1:6-8
-fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith Hebrews 12:2

14 Bible verses about not being shaken: including ….Psalm 16:8 I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. ….Psalm 62:6 He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken.

If you can believe, all things are possible. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. Mark 9:23 (It is your responsibility to believe it for yourself.) I believe I receive…” even if you don’t feel it, yet…..Believe it! means don’t talk negative it .
-Walk in health! It’s your inheritance. Faith will heal your body. Go to the Father directly in Jesus name.
-Healing was one of the many works we know that Jesus did while on earth…..Here is what Jesus said: The Answered Prayer “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask[a] anything in My name, I will do it.
-Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 (This is why we say “in Jesus name”, when we pray.)
-Jesus Promises Another Helper (The Holy Spirit) “If you love Me, keep[b] My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—John 14:15
-He has given power from on High to those who have received the Holy Spirit. 8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me[a] in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1″:8
-Jesus said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. 22 And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” Matthew 21:21-22 (NKJV)
-Jesus healed the sick to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took on our infirmities, and carried our diseases.” Matthew 8: 16-17
-Sickness and disease are spiritual problems so don’t simply accept what doctor says. Tell yourself what Word of God says.
-Ask God for restoration to perfect health.
-God’s Word is Lord over every circumstance of life. It is more powerful than man’s law
-God is the same yesterday, today and forever.

-The only time that Jesus wept was when people felt like Jesus didn’t want to help…You are important to God. God longs for us!
-You touch God by fellowship with Him, praising Him but we can limit Him, when we don’t bother to communicate with Him.
-Prayer immediately turns us into something greater than ourselves.
-God is there when you awaken. The Lord gives to us even when we sleep. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. Revelation 3:20 If you see someone it is common courtesy to acknowledge them. Well, God is here. Let’s acknowledge Him. Thank you is the best prayer that we can pray. -Saying thank you expresses extreme gratitude, humility and understanding. Oh! Magnify the Lord for He is worthy to be praised.

-Let go and let God. Have faith. Don’t let any negative thing come from out of your mouth as you can’t expect to receive anything from the Lord if you are double-minded it tells us in James 1:7-8
-So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Mark 11:22-24 (NKJV)
-Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. Matt 8:13.
-Walk by faith, not by sight.
-KEEP TRUSTING GOD FOR WHAT WE DON’T YET SEE But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. Romans 8:25
-Faith isn’t the ability to believe long and far into the misty future. It’s simply taking God at his word and taking the next step.-author Joni Eareckson Tada
-Faith is your response to God’s ability- Where He calleth those things that be not, as though they were.
-Not so in haste my heart! Have faith in God, and wait; Although He linger long, He never comes too late. 2nd verse: He never cometh late; He knoweth what is best; Vex not thyself in vain; Until He cometh, rest. (Hymn)

-Everything in life is an opportunity to learn….setback can make you stronger, more sympathetic, kinder….In times of great difficulty it may be the only thing that keeps you afloat until things get better.

-If there could be an enemy of faith it is fear.
-Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 1 Timothy 2: 1-2
-God the Help of Those Who Seek Him ~ A Song of Ascents: I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? 2 My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. Psalm 121 (NKJV) Read the rest:
-A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. Psalm 91:7
-The Lord the Defense of His People …The snare is broken, and we have escaped. 8 Our help is in the name of the Lord.
-Even when we feel weak in our faith- If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself. 2 Timothy 2:13
-Stand on the word of God, no matter what the circumstances. Don’t look at signs and symptoms. Don’t put confidence in doctors, symptoms or circumstances. Don’t speak obvious. Speak what word of God says. Jesus “If you speak to this mountain you can have what you say Agree with high priest. Faith supercedes circumstances. By His stripes we are healed. Body broken for your healing, symbolic of Jesus. If I was healed, then I am.
-Father, Your word tells us that we are not to be moved by circumstances. Because of that we pay no attention to what any test may show or what any doctor may say. Your Word tells us it is not your Will for us to be sick. Your world tells us in Mark 5:34 and Luke 18:42 that it is by our faith that we are healed. We ask, Father that our faith is exceedingly abundantly above all that we can imagine and all that we can think. We pray for peace that surpasses all understanding
-We give Him all the praise and all the Glory. Praise- worship activates spirit world. Bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the Lord.
-Jesus is still on the throne.
-I will bless those who bless you.
-The only way to the Father is through Christ Jesus. (Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me John 14:6 ) so we ask these things in Jesus name.

-Because you are obedient and do what God says, You will be blessed.
-Pray, fast, seek the will of Jesus, then when you walk down the street your shadow will affect people because you have been fellowshipping with God.

-The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17

-Now, be very aware that the Devil will try his best to talk you out of your healing.
-1 Timothy 6 vs 12- When you walk in faith you will have a fight when you pray your prayer. The devil wants you to doubt so speak the Word of God over it. Prayer of believing:
You must hold fast to the confession of hope and Jesus will believe in you (Homologeos means to say the same thing as another, i.e. to agree with, assent to concede not to refuse, to promise, not to deny, to confess, declare, to profess, to declare openly, speak out freely, to praise, celebrate acknowledge, admit , assured, give thanks)

-After I pray a prayer of healing, I am not a sick person trying to get well. I am a well person the devil is trying to take my health and healing from me. Jesus was beaten, bruised, took stripes so I could receive healing.

-Stand firmly on the word of God, no matter what the enemy tries to put in your mind. Remember Satan is a liar.

    Protection of our Almighty God

    Psalm 91
-No evil will befall you, Nor will any plague come near your tent. For He will give His angels charge concerning you, To guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91: 10-11
-Angels guard over us-The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, And rescues them. O taste and see that the LORD is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! Psalm 34:7-8I have angels camped around me. What moves angels to action – when we fear the voice that moves angels
-Bless the Lord, you His angels, Who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word. Thank you that no evil shall befall me, Psalm 103:20

Father, You are my refuge and my fortress. No evil shall befall me. No accident shall overtake us, nor any plague or calamity come near our home. You give your angels special charge over us to accompany and defend and preserve me in all our ways of obedience and service. They are encamped around us.

-Sin preempts trust. Satan tempts. Not trusting God is a sin
-Psalm 16-18 Trusting the Lord, Prayer with confidence in final salvation, God the Sovereign Savior. So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you!
-Blessed is He who Fears the Lord … For he will never be shaken; The righteous will be remembered forever. He will not fear evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD. Psalms 112:6-7
-True confidence comes from putting our trust in the One who knows all our future needs and has proven His security and ability to care for us.. False security is confidence thta comes form having a number of our circumstances seemingly cared for.
    Hebrews 10:35

  2. Justin says:

There were many battles and wars in the Old Testament (the warring side of God- Exodus) but in the New Testament there are none. Why? Because of Jesus, evil can be stopped without killing or hurting people.
We have been given new weapons- Love, kindness, forgiveness, turn the other cheek. No more retaliation. We don’t counterattack.
Don’t be overcome by evil but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21 (This packs a punch. It is not passive. It is an aggressive force that alters people’s lives!)
Use the Word of God to destroy the thing that motivates them. It destroys evil without hurting the person. It changes them. Slay the evil behind them, not them. Don’t repay evil with evil.
Instead, “If your enemies are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals of shame on their heads.” Romans 12:20

For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. (This is why we put on the full armour of God, so we can stand against the enemy!)

We can’t take everything at face value as we don’t know what motivates people to do the things they do.

We need to give to others what God has given us: For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. Matthew 6:14

How many lives can you help change by forgiving? If you know evil people, don’t run from them. Pray for them. This may cause them to turn to the Lord. When people dare to forgive each other, we will see change.
My people shall perish for lack of knowledge. Let them seek knowledge when they see Christ through your loving actions.
Hatred is one of the deadliest poisons.
Key is to take it to Jesus-Run to Him….Confess the sin and He is faithful to forgive (A sin of believeing tha God isn’t powerful enough to forgive or change something. He is more faithful to forgive than we are to sin.
Sin always has consequences. do not be deceived. God is not mocked. Sin always starts when we run from God. …No matter how you’ve blown it, God can still use you. …Deaden it by turning in to God-otherwise it will master you. You can’t master it on your own.
We don’t know what the other person is going through. We all have that in common-accepting that encourages forgiveness.
Tying in Kings David forgiveness with love shown his brothers, when he had an opportunity and power to get even. This is all God asks.
Forgiveness The message of the cross is the message of forgiveness, the central tenet of Christianity. Even so we struggle with it We become prisoners of our hurt and resentments. We can’t let go of a wrong done to us. And yet we must, because forgiveness is an act of spiritual liberation. It frees us from feelings that are toxic to the soul and allows us to move forward in our life and our faith. when we forgive, we move closer to God. -Edward Grinnan Eitor in chief Guideposts
When we hate our enemies we give them power over us, power over our sleep, our appetites, and our happiness. They would dance with joy if they knew how much they wer upsetting us. Iur hate is not hurting them at all, but it is turning our own days and nights into hellish turmoil- Dale Carnegie-How to Stop Worrying and Start Livign 1948
He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love.
Can’t hate brother and love God John 4:18
forgive-don’t ever try to get even

Jesus took our: And gave us:
    Punishment Forgiveness and Remission

open door comes from resentment, bitterness, unforgiveness, tattoos
Hatred, anger, unforgiveness- a prison that will keep you locked up more than any cell in solitary.
Have a heart that never hardens, a temper that never tries, a touch that never hurts.

Hyesha Bryant, 34, Douglasville, Georgia at the Douglas County Courthouse on forgiveness

GETTING EVEN: There is nothing so strong as gentleness, and there is nothing so gentle as real strength -St. Francis de Sales
